3. User Responsibilities

Users must provide accurate information when creating their CVs. You are responsible for maintaining the privacy of your account and for all activities under your account.

5. User Content

By submitting content on CV Builder, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and store the content as needed to provide our services.

5a. Job Board, Employer Accounts, and Recruiting Features

CV Builder operates as a two-sided platform: in addition to candidates building CVs and job-search profiles, employers and recruiters ("Employer Users") may create a company workspace to post jobs, search candidates, message users, and schedule interviews. The following applies specifically to these features:

Employer Responsibility for Job Postings: Employer Users are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and content of any job posting they publish, including compliance with applicable labor, employment, equal-opportunity, and anti-discrimination laws in their jurisdiction. CV Builder does not draft, review, or verify job postings before they go live and does not vet employers' identity, legitimacy, or intent to hire.
No Endorsement of Employers or Job Postings: The presence of a job posting or employer account on CV Builder is not an endorsement, verification, or guarantee by CV Builder of that employer, its business, or the legitimacy of the role advertised.
Third-Party and Aggregated Job Listings: Some listings on our job board are aggregated from external, third-party job search services rather than submitted directly by an employer on our platform. These are clearly indicated where shown. CV Builder does not independently verify the accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of externally sourced listings and is not responsible for their content, and such listings may be removed or become unavailable at any time.
No Guarantee of Employment Outcomes: Publishing a candidate profile, applying to jobs, or receiving an AI match score does not guarantee an interview, offer, or employment. AI-generated fit scores, career insights, salary estimates, and interview practice questions are provided for informational purposes only, are generated using automated tools, and may be inaccurate or incomplete — they should not be relied upon as professional career, legal, or financial advice.
No Party to the Employment Relationship: CV Builder is a platform that facilitates connections between candidates and employers. We are not a party to, and assume no responsibility for, any employment relationship, offer, contract, or dispute that may arise between a candidate and an employer.

5b. Fraud Prevention and Job Scam Policy

Your safety matters to us. While we take steps to moderate the platform, no online job board can guarantee every posting or message is genuine — please read and follow this policy:

Never Pay to Get a Job: A legitimate employer will never require you to pay money, purchase equipment, or provide payment card or banking details as a condition of applying, interviewing, or being hired. Treat any such request as a scam.
Protect Your Personal Information: Be cautious about sharing sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, bank details, or copies of identity documents) with an employer or recruiter you have not independently verified, especially early in an application process.
Verify Before You Trust: Be wary of job offers that arrive with no interview, promise unusually high pay for minimal work, or pressure you to respond or decide immediately.
Prohibited Conduct for Employer Users: Posting fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading job listings; requesting payment, fees, or financial information from candidates as a condition of employment; operating multi-level-marketing, pyramid, or similar schemes disguised as job postings; and posting content that discriminates on any legally protected basis are all strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate content removal and account termination without notice.
Reporting: If you encounter a job posting, message, or account you believe is fraudulent or a scam, please report it to us immediately at support@cv.toolscase.com. We investigate reports and reserve the right to remove any content or account suspected of fraudulent activity at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
No Liability for Third-Party Conduct: CV Builder is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your interactions with another user, an employer, a recruiter, or a third-party job listing, including but not limited to fraudulent job offers or misrepresentations by another user.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate any of the terms outlined here, including the job board and fraud-prevention provisions above. Upon termination, your access to the platform will be restricted.

7. Limitation of Liability

CV Builder is not liable for any loss or damage that may occur from the use of the platform, including any technical issues or errors in generating your CV, any AI-generated content or scores, any job posting or employer conduct (including third-party and aggregated listings), or any dispute or outcome arising from an employment relationship or application submitted through the platform.

8. Changes to the Terms

CV Builder may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify users of any changes through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
